Captain O’Farrell is a lifelong racing and cruising sailor. His sailing experience began in his teenage years with 420s on Long Island Sound and he has been racing as navigator and trimmer in the 30-50+ foot cruiser/racer class for the past 15 years. Capt. O’Farrell’s navigational experience includes international racing inshore and offshore with five Bermuda Races, the Marblehead to Halifax Race and around the world in locations such as South China Sea, Andaman Sea, Malaka Straits, Singapore, Australia, North Sea, Sweden and South America in addition to more Martha’s Vineyard and Around Block Island Races than can be remembered.

Capt. O’Farrell holds a Private Pilot’s License, PADI Dive certification, Safe Boating Certificate and Radiotelephone permit and currently designs and teaches infrastructure and process for the banking and credit industry globally.
